Shop Policies

General Shop Policies and Information:

At this moment I do not accept general returns for undamaged items. If an item is damaged in transit and the package was insured, please contact your local post office to get your money back. Issues must be reported within 15 days of delivery. If the item is damaged and insurance was not select, please contact me so we can come to the best solution. Shipping with insurance is always available, please select this if you have worries about your product not arriving or being damaged. Refunds will not be given for lost items if shipping insurance is not selected. Replacements may be sent at the buyer's shipping expense if an error caused by my shop occurs.

Refunds on pre-order items will not be accepted. Pre-orders help fund the project and by purchasing you are agreeing to all pre-order policies below. 

Please don't hesitate to contact me if there is something you are unhappy with! I am glad to help with any issues. Please also make sure you have read all my shop policies, item descriptions and have all your information ready if needed.

For Orders that are Returned to Sender:

We will not be paying to reship the item unless it is in an error on our part. If the address was entered incorectly or it was returned due to not being picked up from the post office, you will be able to re-purchase shipping for the item with the correct address. If the package is lost on it's return journey we are not responsible for refunding the package. It will need to be repurchased. 

Please double check all your info before placing an order. I am able to change your address up until I purchase the label for you, after that an additional shipping fee will apply. Please try to contact me immediately after you notice an error, I try to buy labels and ship as efficiently as I can. 

Pin Grading Policy-

Please keep in mind, I am not super picky with grading. No pin is perfect! They're all handmade and can each come with their own flaws. Below is what you can expect by purchasing each grade pin:

A Grade: Nearly perfect. Possibly has one or two very minor flaws. No issues that impact the main design (i.e spots on the face). No flaws should be able to be seen from an arms length away.

B Grade: More noticeable issues, still a fairly clean looking pin. Possible pinholes, bubbles, underfill, print errors. May or may not be noticeable from a distance.

C Grade: Can range from slight flaws or some pretty major ones. I will always try to get you the better looking pin first, but you do get what you pay for here. The lower my stock of Cs, the more flaws they may have.

Mixed grades- If you see this option it means I have pins that don't fit the label of A or B. They're pins that I don't feel comfortable calling an A, but don't have enough flaws to be called a B. They may have small plating issues on the sides or back, tiny scratches, slightly offset printing etc. Very minimal! You could be received a low A to a low B. The best quality pins are mailed first so order quickly if you select this option! 

Pre-Order Policy:

-Pre-orders will have unpredictable production times. Please be patient if you place a pre-order. No pre-order refunds will be given for long wait times. By purchasing you are agreeing to wait through the entire production process. 

-Please check my instagram stories (@ice_Lightning) often for the best updates on pre-orders. This is where I will post updates on production statuses. 

-If you have concerns with a pre-order, feel free to send me an email with questions. I will not be answering questions about shipping estimates before an item has been in production for at least 3 months. My pre-orders should not take more than a few months, depending on the items, so please expect to wait at least that long before asking where your items are. Make sure you are up to date with my stories and "Updates" highlight before contacting me as well.

-If you have ordered in-stock items along with pre-order items, all of your items will ship when the pre-orders arrive. Please place two separate orders or contact me to pay an extra shipping fee if you would like to receive your in-hand products faster.

PIN RESELLER POLICY (IMPORTANT)

I cannot stop you from reselling my pins, however I am going to require it is NEVER more than the -drop price +shipping to you, +shipping to them-. I.e if a pin is $15 and it costs $5 to ship it to you, you can resell for $20 plus shipping to this new person. This pin should NEVER be sold above $20 plush shipping.
Please do not try to make a profit off of my work. I never want to see any of my pins at ridiculously unaffordable resale prices. This is extreme profiting off of someone else's hard work. I don't care what "market price" is. 
Please also try to make sure you mention if a pin is still available in my shop. More than likely it still will be, and I would like everyone to have the chance to get it for the original price. I also appreciate being able to get paid for my own work. I do understand that sometimes pins just do not fit your collection anymore, so reselling/trading for what you paid is fine. I am not trying to stop anyone from selling my pins, only making their own profit off them.

Anyone not following store policy will be blacklisted from IceLightning Arts. I reserve the right to refuse a sale from anyone.
